Thursday - 22/11/2012 11:13

Walking around the old town, tourists are sure to be fascinated by endless reminiscences of a past time when the old town was a major commercial port, a center of cultural interminglement among Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese. And the old town seems like more c-harming at night. All corners of the town are covered by the mysterious lantern light and especially, the melody leads tourists to the Old House 129 Tran Phu – one of the traditional art performance points here. A group of Bristish tourists were also saw there in the morning, and one of them – Mr Michael Cleverly babbles an idiom in Vietnamese “Hữu duyên thiên lý năng tương ngộ” ( it means “Fate will bring together those a thousand miles apart”).

In addition to that point, House 75 Nguyen Thai Hoc is also a venue for enjoying those performances with more especial ones. A Bristish tourist – Mr Brendan Evan said” this unique cultural heritage should be kept the fire going to the following generations.

Over ten years, Hoi An has been creating many kinds of such these traditional performances. It’s how to preserve the traditional cultural value of Hoi An and furthermore, it’s also the way to introduce Hoi An image to all over the world.
