More than 300 artists f-rom 11 troupes f-rom Indonesia, Australia, South Korea, Malaysia and Taiwan have registered to take part in the 3rd Viet Nam International Choir Competition in Hoi An City on June 20-21, the city's Culture and Information Centre said yesterday.

In March 2011 INTERKULTUR organized the first ever International Choir Competition in Vietnam's history in the city of Hoi An. After the big success of this first edition Hoi An authorities decided to regularly continue the cooperation by biannually hosting the event. After the 2nd Vietnam International Choir Competition is hosted in Huế city in December 2012, the event will now come back to Hoi An in 2013.
