A range of activities to welcome Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day

A variety of activities to welcome Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (23/11) and the anniversary of the UNESCO-World cultural heritage of Hoi An Ancient Town will be held in Hoi An.

The photo “View of Hoi An from up above", photographer Mai Thanh Chuong will be exhibited on this occasion.

Accordingly, Hoi An city will decorate the main streets, public areas, offices, schools, relics,..with banners, panels,..
Also, the seminar of tourism cooperation, investment and development between Hoi An and Northeast Asia will be held  to discuss about tourism potentials and direction of effective cooperation to exploit tourism resources of Hoi An and Northeast Asia region; another seminar of architectural deformation of relics in the ancient town will be held on December 1 and 5.
 Besides, on December 3, the city leader is going to hold a meeting with the participation of relic owners to discuss about restoration of their relics and the leaders of wards, departments (about 200 people) to talk about relics management and preservation. Meanwhile, free pass to visit Hoi An ancient town will be given to honored guests.

In addition, exhibitions are going to be on this occasion, including: wedding photo exhibition; exhibition of award-winning world cultural heritage photos of photographer Mai Thanh Chuong. Also, Nguyen Phuc Chu walking street will be ready to run.  In particular, Hoi An will offer free entrance to the visiting places of Hoi An ancient town on December 4 when Hoi An was recognized as a world cultural heritage.
