Covering an area of approx. 6,500 square meters in the 500-year-old traditional pottery village of Thanh Ha, the park will be built at a cost of VND18 billion (US$850,000) funded by a Ho Chi Minh City based company, Nha Viet Corp.
The park will include five theme areas: pottery museum, outdoor exhibition, area, a performance stage, a workshop area and a trade promotion and service facility.
The park will be shaped like a potter’s wheel and the cultural site will be a place for preserving and promoting the traditional cultures of Thanh Ha pottery village.
The park is expected to be complete by 2013.
