From July 1st to 5th, the delegation from Hoi An city, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Son - Chairman of the People's Committee, participated in the annual conference of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) held in the city of Braga, Portugal.

Beach Festival “Hoi An – Summer Emotions” is an annual event held in Hoi An city that has brought exciting experiences to residents and tourists for many years. One of the distinctive features of Beach Festival is a harmonious combination between cultural island and traditional cultural heritage in this area. The activities take place vibrantly and extensively at Cua Dai beach, An Bang beach, Tan Thanh beach and Cham Island, not only dynamic, youthful, and full of vitality but also promote unique indigenous culture.

The 3rd Hoi An Lantern Festival will be held in Wernigerode, Germany to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the friendship of the two cities.

The 7th Vietnam International Choir Competition will be held in Hội An Park, Hội An city, Quảng Nam province, from April 2 to 6, 2023. There are currently 20 choirs registered from 8 nations and territories, including Vietnam. The competition's Organizing Committee is still inviting new registrations from choirs around the world.

After the event of Vietnam International Choir Competition which was held in 2011 and 2013, Hoi An has become an ideal destination where international choirs would really love to make their concert tour. In 2014, the friendship concert of the Pacific Boychoir (USA) left a deep impression on the locals and tourists in Hoi An. This year, other ensembles from USA – Phillips Exeter Academy Concert Choir and Chamber Orchestra (PEA) will perform in Hoi An.

The conference “ Sharing Experiences on organizing Car Free Day” was taken place at Phan Chau Trinh University, Hoi An City. It is held by the people’s committee of Hoi An city in co-operation with Japan Car Free Day Organization and the action center for urban development.
