This event aims to honor, preserve, and promote the cultural, culinary and tourism values of Quảng Nam province; spread tangible and intangible cultural values, resources, and tourism products to tourists from near and far; introduce typical cuisine and typical agricultural products of Quảng Nam province as well as other regions in the country; and exchange culinary culture with international friends.
In the festival, many special activities will take place, for example:
 
- At 8:30 a.m, on December 30, 2023, Quảng Nam Culinary Culture Association will coordinate with Hội An city to hold the Opening ceremony of the first Quảng Nam Culinary Culture Festival in Sông Hoài Square. It will be broadcast on Quảng Nam Radio and Television Station; and livestreamed on the media platform of the Central press agency, the province's digital platforms, as well as social networks.
 
- On January 1, 2024, at 7:30p.m, the Night Program honoring the value of Quảng Nam culinary culture will take place in An Hội Sculpture Garden.
 
- The festival will also include a space to display, introduce, and enjoy culinary culture, tourism, and OCOP products, with about 50 booths from 18 districts; exchanges with some provinces and cities; entertainment activities; cultural, arts, culinary, and tourism exchanges; demonstration of cooking Quảng Nam's special dishes; Quảng noodle cooking tour for domestic and international tourists,...
