Hoi An hosts the first International Choir Festival
About 1,000 candidates are expected to be in Hoi An for the First International Choir Festival f-rom March 16th to 19th.
According to Mr. Pham Hong Hai, Director of the Vietnam Opera and Ballet Theatre and a representative of the competition’s art council, the event will improve the relationship between Vietnam and foreign countries and promote Vietnam’s images of both people and coutry to international friends.
Vietnamese traditional singing and dancing performances, such as Quan Ho folksong, will be presented at the event.
On this occasion, the Quang Nam Tourism Promotion Centre will also introduce special tours around the City to artists.
