Come to Hoi An, you could recognize a rather special performing of yo-heave-ho. Floating on Hoai river in the lyric space of the moon light, cultural boats’ artisans retort inspiredly with reminding melodies. Yo-heave-ho is still maintained in lives of Quang people, especially to Hoi An residents. Every night on Hoai river, when the town is overwhelmed in sparkling lanterns, in quiet and peaceful space, the boats together with artisans appear and disappear al-ternately on the river and they begin to sing close melodies excitedly.

Thousands of foreign and domestic tourists flocked to Hoi An’s Old Quarter in the Central Coastal Province of Quang Nam on the night of February 16 to join the coloured lantern and flower-garland releasing festival on the Hoai River to pray for happiness and good luck.
