The best tourist destinations in Vietnam were named during the World Travel Awards (WTA) Asia and Oceania 2022 awards ceremony in Hồ Chà Minh City. On September 7, Hội An was honored to receive the WTA award for "Asia's Leading Cultural City Destination 2022".

Há»™i An city has been announced that on October 10th, 2013, the Final Review Meeting fpr the 2013 Asian Townscape Award held in Hangzhou city, China, by the joint organizers, UN-Habitat Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (Fukuoka), Asian Habitat Society, Fukuoka Asian Urban Research Center, and Asian Townscape Design Society.
