Minh Huong Communal House

This communal house is considered as the religious architecture of Minh Huong People - Chinese people obtained Vietnamese citizenship in order to worship heroic ancestors.

Minh Huong people were permitted to found their Minh Huong village in Hoi An in the mid 17th century. It is a typical relic and plays a meaningful role in the historic existence and development of the ancient town - commercial port in Hoi An. This architecture obtains a rather big scope of construction and its space arrangement is quite prefect. The skillful hands of  the craftsmen in Kim Bong carpentry village had cre-ated this architectural work and the talented carpenters in Kim Bong are now performing its restoration. Minh Huong Tuye Tien Duong was just been restored in 1820, 1849, 1905, 1953, 1970. This is an alluring destination for visitors to Hoi An. The Minh Huong communal house was granted the certificate of National Historic - Cultural Relic on 29th Mardch 1993.
