Mr. Quang had a welcome speech to the delegation and expressed his honor for this chance to  introduce the ancient town of Hoi An – the world cultural heritage to them. Mr. Kover Laszio represented his delegation to show their appreciation for the warm welcome of the city.

Mr. Quang also reminded about the signed cooperation agreements between the government of Vietnam and Hungary two years ago including the item of creating e-government in Hoi An city with Hungary government’s support. The provincial header expected to receive the support of the senior leaders of Hungary in term of the twin-cities relationship.
 

 

"Hungarian government offers a scholar program every year for Vietnamese students to study in Hungary. In addtion, there are about 400 Vietnamese students study in Hungary without scholarship. When the students went back Vietnam, they not only brang home knowledge but also became a key to develop the cooperation relation between the Vietnam and Hungary", shared Mr. Kover Laszio. He also stated that he will give his best to support the twin relation between the two cities.
After the reception at Song Hoai Square, the delegation of Hungarian national assembly speaker Mr. Kover Laszio and his spouse had a tour visting the ancient town and enjoyed Hoi An traditional art performance.
