The combination of forest, sea, and estuary has created a vast livelihood space for the local community.
From this foundation, residents have sustained their lives while forming a culturally rich community.

“Cam Thanh’s place at number 20 on the list of the world’s 50 most beautiful villages is the result of a long journey from past to present,” said Tran Tan Dung, chairman of Hoi An Dong Ward People’s Committee.
“Cam Thanh has grown and thrived with the times thanks to the values of a traditional village.
“With deep gratitude and a sense of responsibility, we honor the legacy of our predecessors and express appreciation to past generations for preserving and nurturing Cam Thanh, making it more beautiful over time.
“We pledge to continue preserving Cam Thanh as the most beautiful village.”
