On April 4, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Hùng - Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, signed a decision to recognize Trà Quế vegetable farming as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage: Traditional knowledge of folk crafts. This recognition of Trà Quế vegetable farmingas a National Intangible Cultural Heritage is considered a valuable opportunity to spread and strengthen the brand of the occupation villageas part of the goal torestore Hội An tourism in the near future.
Trà Quế Vegetable Village lies immediately adjacent to the Cổ Cò river, whose water has irrigated and created fresh and lush vegetable granaries. Trà Quế is now regarded as one of the must-see attractionsfor visitors to Hội An.
